CLINICAL SPECIALIST (USA)

The Clinical Specialist is responsible for Clinical Sales Support, Clinical Education and Clinical Reimbursement Education for Kent’s products. Will work closely with the sales team to provide support and training, especially with new users. Responsible for assisting in creating and implementing a training program, including the training materials, presentations and other materials as needed that are required to train on product use. Will be able to deliver in-person and online training for the device. Will be required to acquire excellent product knowledge and keep up with advancements in the fields of application of Kent’s products. Will be required to work closely with consultants and other Kent team members to determine the overall strategic plan and then execute upon the plan. This will require building relationships with sites to ensure billing and coding is well understood.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive Clinical adoption and assist with driving revenue within the territory.
Participate in presentations, product demos, and product evaluations.
Provide clinical support to existing customers and generate organic growth within the territory.
Memorize product features and presenting their functionalities, using applicable medical terminology.
Conduct post-sale training sessions to individual product users, professional teams, or healthcare departments.
Maintain existing customer networks and informing customers of upgrades or new product lines.
Analyze competitor products and highlight our unique product features in sales pitches.
Update CRM system as appropriate to track sales and customer contact-related activities.
Provide product and other related feedback received from customers during training sessions to Product Management to help improve the overall product.
Work directly with customer sites to ensure they are properly onboarded for billing and coding, and billing appropriately with Kent’s product line.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE):
College degree preferably science, nursing or related fields; RN license is required
Wound care certified or working towards certification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal relationship skills
Experience delivering training to a clinical audience
Experience obtaining reimbursement for medical devices in the USA market
