**-TC (Technical Component) and -26 (Professional Component) as used in the table assumes a traditional arrangement (Place of Service 22) in which the facility owns the equipment and provides other technical resources (such as nursing staff), and the provider supplies the interpretation and medical decision-making only. Ownership of the device and employment of the provider can impact assignment of modifiers -TC and -26. Consult with your billers and coders.
