Kent Imaging Receives Funding to Expand and enhance its non-invasive medical diagnostics device line

The Government of Canada has recently invested funds to help 15 innovative Alberta businesses that create high-quality jobs in the Calgary area. Kent Imaging has received a portion of this funding from the Jobs and Growth Fund (JGF) via Prairie Economic Development Canada.

Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan) works to diversify the economy across the Canadian Prairies. PrairiesCan leads in building a strong, competitive Canadian economy by supporting business, innovation, and community economic development unique to Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

PrairieCan has developed several funding programs which provide financial support for early-stage companies and social enterprises in the Canadian Prairies. The organization invests in companies creating social and economic value in the region and provides capital, resources, and mentorship to help entrepreneurs launch and scale their businesses.

Kent Imaging is pleased to be a recipient of this growth and innovation investment along with other inspiring tech companies within Calgary and across Western Canada.
